April 5th Update

I got two of my three physical proofs in the mail! And we're exactly one month from release day, so it's starting to get very real.

The hardback version (without the bar across it in the pictures) will be available through IngramSpark for all the bookstores and libraries. It is perfect except that it's thinner than I had imagined, which makes the price very... pricey. Between the huge discount I need to offer to stores and the cost of production, I will get less for that one personally than I would for a paperback sale. And since the paperbacks are almost as big, I suspect that all/most of my sales of physical books will be the less expensive paperbacks. Only the true completionist fans of the cover artist and maybe my family might buy the hardback - but it will be available, by the Gods!

The Amazon paperback is also great, but needed to be redone to make the colors a little darker/more contrasty, and to fix a very small error with the barcode on the back. Fortunately, Amazon is super fast compared to IngramSpark, and I should have the new proof in hand in a few days to approve.

And once I've approved all three versions (to go along with the already available for pre-order e-Book and the to-be-recorded audiobook, both on Amazon) I will publish my book reviews and start promotion in earnest. I even signed up for a TikTok account finally, just so I can release a video there, in addition to here.
